They are elder, mature, but old-fashioned. Moreover, we are much more educated than them. They are not up-to-date, they don’t know much information about technology. And sometimes we become emotional because of them, sometimes we underestimate them. Upset and impatient. However, the real fact is they have a lot of experiences which make them wiser. They have wisdom in moral and manners.

 .

A wisdom we never learn. It’s an old wisdom, but applied for a lifetime. They care about health. They are willing to make sacrifices. They are dedicated, and they know how to be ‘people’ in society. Sometimes we underestimate them, just because they are not educated person. Still, they are sincere and humble.

 .

Respect them, not because of what we see, what we get from them, like money, house, handphone, etc but because of something invisible, something we can feel from them.  Their loving-kindness to their children. Their sacrifices and understanding given. We are more educated, we have an academic-degree, as if we are better than our parents. AND, when we are assessed in morality, characteristic and personality, are we as good as our parents? NEVER! Learn from them as we learn from the successful people outside there.

My sincerity to Father, Mother, Grandfather, Grandmother, and all parents in the world,
wishing you longevity, health and happiness
